Wire Protector

The towing sleeves and shoes have been designed specifically for wire ropes operating from a winch. Towing sleeves and shoes are manufactured from an exceptionally hard wearing but resilient material that retains flexibility even at freezing temperatures, and is resistant to sea water and oil.

Towing sleeves and shoes provide protection against abrasion and chafing of the wire rope against bulwark rails, towing rails and other parts of the vessel’s deck equipment. They also protect the vessel from damage.
